Martina leads our Content Strategy team, helping our clients to plan, create and maintain top-quality content across their online corporate communications.
She's on a mission to get the world thinking about online content as more than a deliverable on a spreadsheet - as something that can be a real asset for our clients' businesses. What all this means in practice is an approach that's not limited to any one stage of a project - she'll be involved in anything from audits and best practice recommendations to messaging, content guidelines of various descriptions and advice on managing it all once a project's launched.
She'll still do a bit of editing and copywriting to keep her hand in and is always available to answer our grammar queries, fuelled by cups of extra strong black coffee.
Martina started out in book publishing in the days before desktop publishing was the norm, later making a move to more communications-based roles, with a focus on editorial and online copywriting. In her time, she's worked both agency and client side - for Organic Inc, Burnett Associates and the civil service, among others - and been responsible for everything from Valentine's cards on behalf of homeless dogs to their sponsors, to interfaces for interactive TV, to editorial branding and corporate web site copy.
A recent convert to the glorious county of Essex, she's discovering the joys of gardening, oysters and long walks across the saltmarsh.
Martina has an English degree from Cambridge University.
